When you say you can see your XBox friends in the EA App, are you seeing your friends, or your brother's friends? If you have a separate XBox account, and you're seeing the friends you have there in the EA App, then it sounds like your XBox account, not your brother's, is connected to your EA account. I'm not trying to be annoying here, it's just that when sorting out account issues, not using accurate terminology can get in the way when seeking help. You don't have an EA Play account, you have an EA account, and that account should have an EA Play subscription courtesy of XBox GamePass Ultimate. Just to be clear, EA Play is a subscription, and the EA App is the game launcher.
